Experience 110 acres of fields, rivers, woods and a state-of-the-art facility just one hour north of Pittsburgh. Certified by the American Camp Association, the curriculum at Camp Allegheny is focused on Christian principles and promotes an awareness of God in nature and a relationship with Him.
Children are housed in a safe, nurturing environment and provided with a host of physical activities. Character development study, based on biblical principles, is at the core of all Camp Allegheny programs.

Accommodations
Campers live in large cabins housing two groups of campers with counselors. Each cabin is equipped with toilets, showers, and a recreations area. Sheets and blankets are provided; you will need to bring your own towels and pillow.
Meals and Snacks: Your child will receive three meals a day and a snack at bedtime. Every effort is made to make the food nutritious and well-balanced. Your child will also visit our canteen each day where healthy snacks and souvenirs can be purchased.
Health Care: Camp Allegheny operates an infirmary to ensure the well-being of your child. At all times, the infirmary is operated by staff, a minimum of two nurses of which one is an RN. All staff complete CPR and First Aid training and, at most, Licensed Practical Nursing degrees. We also operate with a health lodge assistant. All conditions not easily treated are referred to our camp physician in Ellwood City or the Ellwood City Hospital located less than 15 minutes from camp. For more info on Medications and Medical Forms, please contact us.
Supervision & Care
While all of our activities are planned with fun in mind, they are designed to encourage growth in each child in a safe and loving environment.
Guided by Christian principles, our counselors and other staff are trained to lead children in a camp setting. They are at least 17 years old and must attend our seven-day training course before working at camp. This training is comprehensive and covers topics ranging from health care to leading creative activities. Staff and counsel for undergo thorough screening and background checks.
At no time will your child ever be left unsupervised.
